http://www.wboy.com/story.cfm?func=viewstory&storyid=63095 Southwest Jet Leaves Yeager Airport, Returns to Dallas Posted Saturday, July 18, 2009 ; 02:09 PM CHARLESTON -- The Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300 - which developed a one-foot-by-one-foot hole in its fuselage while in mid-flight on Monday, necessitating an emergency landing at Yeager Airport in Charleston, is now back at its home base in Dallas. After the hole was repaired, the plane took off from Charleston around 12:45 p.m. Friday, landing in Dallas a couple of hours later. It remains unclear what caused the damage, which appeared mid-cabin on the top of the jet. The incident prompted Southwest to inspect all 200 of its Boeing 737-300-series jets this week at hangars across the country. No other similar problems were discovered, and the planes are now back in service. Copyright 2009 West Virginia Media. All rights reserved.
