Firefighters for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority met Flight 3238 on the runway but did not find any signs of smoke or fire, said Fennell. The 129 passengers got off the aircraft on the runway at the pilot's request to be transported by bus to the terminal, she said. No one was injured in the 12:03 p.m. incident and operations were not slowed at the four-runway airport. It was the second incident this week with a Southwest Airlines flight in the U.S. A football-sized hole in the fuselage of a plane headed to Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport forced an emergency landing Monday in West Virginia, a spokeswoman said. Southwest Airlines inspected all 200 of its Boeing 737-300s overnight and through the morning as a precaution and flights were operating as scheduled today, according to wire reports. "This is something that has never happened at Southwest before. We are working diligently to find out what happened,'' Marilee McInniss, a Southwest spokeswoman, said. Check back for updates.
