A Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) committee voted Wednesday to support spending about $2.2 million on signs that would re-brand the Lindbergh Terminal as =93terminal 1=94 and the Humphrey Terminal as =93terminal 2,=94 according to media reports. To move forward, the plan still requires approval from the full MAC board. A vote is set for July 20. MAC began exploring changing the terminals=92 names due to complaints from travelers who found the =93Lindbergh=94 and =93Humphrey=94 names confusing. The funding would go toward the purchase of 44 signs, 28 of which would be used to identify airlines located at each terminal. kgrayson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx | (612) 288-2106 All contents of this site =A9 American City Business Journals Inc.
