Years ago when I ground handled AC here in EWR, the London thing came about. AC
OPS guy had a radio that was a system wide link (pre-cell days). He
gets a call from London about missing bags, right in front of my Supv
and Me. My Supv says " Shit, I can't fucking get the asholes at TermC
on my piece of shit radio and he's is talking to London." We all laughed.

OK, not that London -- the one in Canada. The news comes from the appropriately named Airline Route Updates blog, which reports that United will add United Express service between
Chicago O'Hare and London, Ontario. The route kicks off Sept. 29 with
two daily round-trip flights. United's website confirms the service,
which will be operated by affiliate SkyWest with CRJ-200 regional jets.
Canada's London International Airport is in southern Ontario, about 130 miles east-northeast of Detroit and about 120 miles west-southwest of Toronto.
