Airport manager David Gordon said there are no injuries and no damage to the aircraft, an MD83 arriving from Las Vegas mid-morning. "They cut the turn a little sharp," said Gordon. As of 11 a.m., Gordon said a bus was being sent out to the plane to unload passengers. Once the passengers and luggage are unloaded, the plane may be light enough to drive out of the mud on its own, he said. Wendy King, who is at the airport waiting for her husband to arrive on that flight, said the plane appeared to overshoot the runway and got stuck at the end. "The plane was completely stopped and I was like, that's not normal," said King. "He's just stuck in a field." Allegiant spokesperson Tyri Squyres told The Associated Press that the airline is working to find a replacement plane for a return flight to Las Vegas. There was no immediate word on damage to the MD-83.
