Blue Skyway wins 75th =0Aanniversary livery contest=0AThe votes have been c=
ounted in the 75th =0Aanniversary livery contest, and the 1940s Blue Skyway=
 livery will be painted on =0Aa new CO 737-900ER that Boeing will deliver i=
n June. =0AThe classic livery features red and blue =0Astripes above the wi=
ndows and a solid red stripe below the windows. CO=E2=80=99s old =0Aeagle l=
ogo is also prominent just below the cockpit windows on either side of =0At=
he airplane.=0A The words =E2=80=9CContinental Airlines=E2=80=9D are =0Aspe=
lled out in all capital letters above the top stripe, and =E2=80=9CContinen=
tal=E2=80=9D is =0Aspelled out in white with a navy background on the =0Ata=
il.=0AThis livery was featured on CO=E2=80=99s Douglas =0ADC-3 aircraft unt=
il they were retired in 1963 and can still be seen today on =0ACO=E2=80=99s=
 restored DC-3 that is on display at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galvest=
on, Texas.
