A friend on another forum relayed a Facebook post from one of his friends in Las Vegas, who said he saw what appeared to be an aircraft in trouble with an engine on fire, and heard on a police scanner that the plane was trying to make an emergency return to McCarran. No details. This was about 15 minutes ago. There's nothing on the ATCSCC status map (http://www.fly.faa.gov/flyfaa/usmap.jsp ) and nothing in the media, and observer reports like this are often wildly inaccurate, but does anyone know anything about this? -- Michael C.
