Hey Roger, 
   As an airline employee, I can tell you, I'm either searched to the enth degree or just waved through.  I know I have no ill intent but they don't know that. There is no consistancy.  Nowhere is this worse than at LHR.  One day you can bring something through and then another day you can't.  It all depends on who you get.  Crazy and frustrating but true.  Be safe.     Lisa
