Dispute with airport =20 management? ---- United Cargo Embargo in Kansas City, Missouri 08/07/08 United Cargo is announcing an immediate embargo on the carriage of =20 cargo to and from Kansas City International Airport in Kansas City, =20 Missouri (MCI). No cargo will be accepted in or loaded on flights or =20 trucks out of MCI, and no cargo will be loaded on flights or trucks =20 into MCI. Inventory on flights and trucks to and from MCI has been =20 removed from United Cargo=92s reservation system. United Cargo=92s freight facility at MCI will cease operations at 2200 =20= on Friday, August 8, 2008. The embargo on the carriage of cargo into =20 and out of MCI, and the closing of the freight facility, will remain =20 in effect until further notice. Please note: United Cargo will continue to offer SPD Small Package =20 Service in MCI. While SPDs can no longer be tendered or recovered at =20 the freight facility, customers can continue to tender SPDs at the =20 United Airlines passenger ticket counter and recover SPDs at the =20 United Airlines baggage claim area.
