About 4:35 p.m., United Express Flight 6975 bound for Winnipeg was driving toward a runway when it experienced mechanical difficulties and veered into a grassy area, a Department of Aviation spokeswoman said. Emergency workers helped the plane's 40 passengers and crew members exit the plane and return to the terminal to wait for a replacement flight. No injuries were reported, officials said. As of Saturday evening, emergency crews were working to remove the disabled plane from the grass, according to the Department of Aviation.
