Continental files to fly to Heathrow and Paris 11:15:49 AM ET 3/22/2007 NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - Continental Airlines Inc. (CAL) filed Thursday with the U.S. Department of Transportation to expand its service in 2008 from its Houston hub to Heathrow airport in London and to fly to Paris from its Cleveland base. The carrier said it made the application immediately after the European Union agreed to liberalize trans-Atlantic travel in an "open skies" agreement.
