An article Sunday in the Los Angeles Times praised CO for its outstanding s=
ervice.
=E2=80=9CThe low-key, Houston-based company may one day shape the way most =
people fly: pampered in business and first class, with a few key perks in e=
conomy. And lots of routes to chose from,=E2=80=9D the article said.
=E2=80=9C=E2=80=98The real future is with carriers like Continental,=E2=80=
=99 said aviation analyst Mike Boyd, who views it as the best of the compre=
hensive network airlines, which include American, Delta, Northwest and Unit=
ed.=E2=80=9D
The article said CO has received many honors for its outstanding product an=
d services.
=E2=80=9CExplaining the airline=E2=80=99s high rank in surveys, Linda Hirne=
ise, executive director for the travel practice at J.D. Power & Associates =
said, =E2=80=98It=E2=80=99s not one thing done right. It=E2=80=99s many thi=
ngs done right consistently.=E2=80=99=E2=80=9D
The article said that one key difference between CO and other network carri=
ers is the way it treats its employees. =E2=80=9CIt has paid off, experts s=
aid, in peaceful labor relations, higher morale and perhaps better service.=
=E2=80=9D
