Gibraltar airport There's nothing new to report on Monday's "historic deal" between Spain and United Kingdom that will open Gibraltar's airport to flights from Spain and the rest of Europe. But, for "today's photo," this image of the airport seemed to be the way to go. AP writes that with the new deal, commercial flights landing on this Gibraltar runway "will no longer need to perform dangerous approaches to avoid using Spanish airspace.
