It doesn't but its codeshare partner ATA does go to Mexico. I don't think Southwest is updating its reservation system right now for anything more than the test of reserved seating for flights from San Diego. Reserved seating on Southwest is a TERRIBLE idea. The open seating works, don't fix it (and I've told Southwest that, too, as have many people at the Southwest blog have said).
