(LUV.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday that it is joining with AMR Corp.'s (AMR.N: Quote, Profile, Research) American Airlines and the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, to craft legislation to repeal the long-standing Wright Amendment, which restricts flights from Dallas's Love Field airport. The law restricting direct service from Love Field to other cities in Texas and several nearby states was introduced in 1979. The limit was intended to boost prospects for then-fledgling Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, which has since become American's main air travel hub. Roger & Amanda La France
