I would agree with you on one point and disagree with you on another. I'm a Gold Medallion on Delta and fly BOS-DTW over 60 times per year on Northwest. I have always been able to access the priority seats when I check in at the airport or online. You are right about upgrades however; Delta and Northwest do not upgrade each others elite members. With that said, I have asked at the gate before with my gold card and boarding pass and have been upgraded about 25% of the time on Northwest. -----Original Message----- From: The Airline List [mailto:AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mark Gerrard Sent: Wednesday, March 22, 2006 6:50 PM To: AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: DL + NW FF Blaine, They can use their NW WorldPerks numbers instead of DL. Just have them=20 call DL and give them the number. One thing to note, if they have any=20 status on NW, i.e. gold/platinum etc. they will not be able to use this=20 for preferred seating/upgrades etc. somethign the airlines don't tell you!
