I flew out of Le Bourget in 1976, not long before it closed to airline
flights. It had the smoothest taxiways and runways I have ever been on. It
was my first flight in a 737, of Aer Lingus. The takeoff was delayed for
quite a while until they put three men ( passengers, I think) on the flight
deck.
