If I'm not mistaken, Allegiant is privately owned so they are not required
to post profit/loss statements.

Allegiant not only has scheduled services but operates charters also. It
also has a vacations affiliate offering full vacation packages.

=>Is Allegiant Air making money?
=>
=>After a weekend visit through Las Vegas, I noticed Allegiant Air
=>filling their planes to what seems like some very odd places.
=>Bellingham WA, Lansing MI, Peoria IL.
=>
=>But on second thought, it appears to be quite smart. Lansing,
=>Bellingham, Amarillo and many more places barely have 4 times a day
=>EMB-120 service to a nearby "hub", yet have a catchment area that
=>should easily be able to fill an MD83 with Vegas bound travelers if
=>the price is right.
=>
=>BUT, are they making money?
