Midwest Air Won't Exercise Options For More Boeing Planes Wednesday March 23, 3:17 PM EST WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Midwest Air Group Inc. (MEH) said Wednesday that it decided not to exercise its options to buy additional Boeing Co. (BA) planes after reviewing its future fleet needs. The company, in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, said its Midwest Airlines unit plans to get three of seven Boeing 717s it ordered this year, and the remaining four in 2006. The company also has options to purchase up to 25 additional Boeing 717s at pre-negotiated prices, but it said it decided not to exercise those options.
