....Just received this from my friend Aviation Artist Rick Broome....I know many of you listers know (of) Len.... =============================== Dear Bryant, My dear friend former Braniff Captain and FLYING Magazine columnist Len Morgan is very ill. I ask everyone to join me in prayer for Len, his wife Margaret, daughter Kathy and son Terry as well as all of their family during this very difficult time. I hope you can forward this letter on to all of your aviation friends. Perhaps folks could send Len and his family a get well card or note of encouragement. Also, his 83rd birthday is next week. Len and I have been great friends for almost forty years. He has been not only one of my best friends but also both a father figure, and like a brother too. Len has influenced my life in a most wonderful and positive way; more than anyone other friend I have in aviation or in life. And Len made it possible for me to continue to improve my aviation art career and our small family business. I truly credit Len for my success and our happy family. Many of the decisions I have made since I was 19 years old (including how I have lived my life and treated my family) are a result of his wonderful and Len was one of the most popular of all FLYING Magazine assistant editors with his decades running VECTORS column. He has tens of thousands of fans and I know that millions of aviators world-wide have read his wonderful stories about flying and the numerous books he authored. Cards and letters may be sent to Len Morgan, Box 6190, Palm Harbor, Florida 34684. I will forward any emails I get to Len too... Rick Broome __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
