I don't know that having passengers (and cargo) clear customs
would impact your turn times. The plane doesn't go through
customs, and in SDQ, the only delay would be things like
keeping the cleaners off the plane until you got the passengers fully off,
which doesn't seem like a big deal. Now, you might get a
slightly higher time cost at JFK, where B6 has to
handle any international arrival which has to clear
customs at T4, and then taxi the plane off to T6 for
its next departure, but that's not exactly a huge cost.
(You have the minor amusement of either having someone
qualified to taxi the plane meet the flight, or waiting until
the crew clears customs and loops back to the airplane
to move it)

However, SDQ service has been cargo  (and excess pax bags)
heavy for as long as I can remember. Lots of widebody service
for short flights. I could easily see that being a bit of an issue
for B6's A320s.
