The deal is worth $650 million at list prices, although airlines typical= ly negotiate steep discounts. Icelandair also has the option to buy five more of the narrow-body airplanes under the deal. In a statement, Icelandair said it was forming a new leasing subsidiary = to handle the planes. An outside company will market them to Chinese airlines. Boeing shares rose 2 cents to $49.86 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Its shares traded above $55 in December.
