JetBlue's been available for sale in SABRE since about 2 weeks after they took flight.  The corporate pressure was too much -- and further, if they aren't in a GDS, it's tough to get into the SABRE-owned booking tool GetThere or Microsoft's Expedia, which is where they still hope to reach the end user directly.

Nothing in the article says anything about JetBlue listing itself in a
GDS. They're buying other software offered by Sabre.
