HOUSTON, Nov 8, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Continental Airlines (CAL) today announced that it received the highest overall score of all airlines surveyed in the 2004 Business Travel News Annual Airlines Survey. The airline garnered top marks in five of the 10 categories, including corporate pricing, meeting pricing, contract performance, quality of airline communication and value of sales representative visits.

"These survey results validate Continental's continued focus on our product and the hardworking efforts of our sales force, corporate programs group and operations team to deliver superior service to our customers," said Dave Hilfman, Continental's senior vice president sales.

Measured by responses from 534 North American corporate and agency buyers, the Business Travel News survey asked respondents to rank major domestic airlines and low cost carriers in various categories ranging from flexibility in negotiating prices and amenities to the quality of sales representatives' visits, carrier communication and overall price value. Complete survey results are available in the Nov. 8 issue of Business Travel News.
