An Airbus A320 of Taiwan's Transasia Airways veered off the runway when landing at Taipei's domestic airport on Monday night but no one was hurt, an air safety official said. The Transasia Airbus A320 was arriving at Taipei's Sung Shan Airport from the southern city of Tainan with 100 passengers on board and six crew, said an airline spokeswoman. "The nose gear wound up in a ditch on the left hand side of runway 10," said Kay Yong, managing director of the cabinet's Aviation Safety Council. "Apparently nobody was hurt," he said. The domestic airport was temporarily closed due to the incident.
