Clay,

Have you checked out AirNav Live Flight Tracker 6 at =
http://airnavsystems.com/ ? You could zoom into SeaTac approach space =
to monitor those approaches you described.

Note: In VFR conditions, many of the aircraft you're seeing over Redmond =
and Kirkland are on the Husky visual approach. If you're not familiar =
with the Husky visual approach to runways 16L&R and the ILS approaches, =
hie on down to the flight store at Boeing Field and pick up a Terminal =
Procedures book for Washington/Oregon--very interesting reading. =20

Also--consider a scanner, you're in a good location for aircraft =
monitoring activities. I work in the Redmond-to-Kenmore region, and =
will not go mobile without my scanner set to approach/departure freqs. =
We're in a great place for aircraft spotting and monitoring. =20

Well for some of us that have to work out in suburbia-land, far away
from the airport, it's not so easy. One thing I've noticed working =
here
though is that most planes come in high above our building here by the
Microsoft campus and make a sharp turn to the west. Then, when I'm at
home, I can see them stacked up, heading west until the get over the
University of Washington and Lake Union where they make a SHARP left
turn to head south to the airport. I would love to find a program that
  shows me that.

Yes there is something else and it's free. It's called
EYES. Just travel to the airport of choice (that you
have you pay for) and watch. It's also in high
  definition and in 3-D.
