It was absolutely fantastic - freedom in three dimensions. I felt like a bird. / Swiss pilot, Yves Rossy, the first jet propelled flying man. Rossy flew over the Swiss Alps on Aug. 23 for four minutes with two jet engines strapped to a wing on his back. The wing was made of carbon and filled with kerosene for an expected 10 minute flight. He reached a top speed of 112 miles per second by flying out of an airplane and landing with a parachute. By day Rossy is a captain of an Airbus for Swiss Airlines. (My note, 112 miles per second has got to be a record in itself). __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? New and Improved Yahoo!
