As previously emailed, now I was correct. Jetblue jumped the gun on all those cancellations going on to the 18SEP. How could they even think that all those flts needed to be cancelled almost 2 weeks later. Did they reinstate or are they going to use Frances as a excuse to keep aal those flts cancelled. JETBLUE RESUMES FLORIDA SERVICE FOLLOWING HURRICANE FRANCES -- Service has now recommenced to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach -- New York, NY (September 6, 2004) ? JetBlue Airways [Nasdaq: JBLU] has resumed service between New York?s John F Kennedy, Boston?s Logan, Washington?s Dulles and LA?s Long Beach airports and its Florida destinations following Hurricane Frances this weekend. JetBlue will operate its full schedule from this afternoon. Over the course of the weekend, from Friday through this morning, the airline was forced to cancel 131 roundtrip flights. In addition to its regular schedule, JetBlue is adding 12 additional flights this week to help stranded customers get to their destinations as soon as possible. JetBlue has waived its regular $25 change fee and any fare differences for customers with reservations for Florida travel from September 3 through September 9 to reschedule their travel plans through September 30. Customers who wish to rebook their travel beyond September 30 will also have the $25 change fee waived but will be charged any applicable fare increase.
