Here are few instances I exactly did that: - I had some UAL certs of $20 to $50 from refunds. I needed to buy a new ticket using these, no way you can do this online. - Mom had to travel back to Turkey and wanted to upgrade her using my miles on DL. Their website doesn't allow you to do that... - Had a FTA (Future Travel Award) through a United because I volunteered to give up my seat... There is no way you can do that online. - I wanted to book a special class of fare in UA. (BUA to be exact). This is not available through UAL's website. So I had to call their 1K desk. As you can see, no matter how much you try to believe that buying online is THE way to go, you can never avoid having personnel at the ticket counter. At least UAL hasn't jumped on this bandwagon... yet... BAHA Fan of AliReza and Ali G. :) --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? New and Improved Yahoo! Mail - Send 10MB messages!
