Clay, Bankruptcy will enable DL to move a bit more freely instead of trying to convince unions that are involved. Expect more flights to be flown by DL owned regional carriers like ASA. I don't think that Comair will get even more flights as they are the higher cost regional compared to ASA. I am not familiar with the contracts and limitations DL has with its ALPA pilots in terms of flying jets larger than 50 seats. If DL doesn't have a scope clause such that, they may end up transferring more flights to Chautauqua where the cost of doing business is lower compared to Comair. -----Original Message----- From: The Airline List [mailto:AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Clay Wardlow Sent: Tuesday, August 10, 2004 7:48 AM To: AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Delta Obviously Delta's not going to go completely out of business, but what does all this really mean? If it enters bankruptcy, what operations do you see being scaled back? =20 What does this mean for ATL, CVG, SLC, DFW? =20 Clay - SEA
