The A340-600 is 75.3m, 247', long. Its wingspan it 63.45m, 208'. The 747-400 is "only" 70.7m by 64.4m. However, it has the wider fuselage of the two and, of course, the second level, so its passenger capacity is a bit more than the A340-600. As long as I'm in full-geek mode, the 777-300 is 73.9m long, the 767-400 is 61.4m, and the 757-300 is 54.5m -- not bad for a single-aisle plane, but nowhere near as long as the twin-aisle behemoths.
