Looks like America West has made LAX a "focus city" as well as Frontier. New non-stops to Edmonton and Puerto Vallarta beginning 6/4 with additional non-stops to Vancover and Mazatlan on 6/11. Service to these four cities will be provided by AmWest Express (aka Mesa Air or Freedom Air) utilizing CRJs. In addition, Cactus is adding one more non-stop from LAX to LAS, JFK & BOS on June 1st. This service will be provided by Mama Cactus (A319/320) and increases AmWest's non-stops to the Big Apple and Beantown to 3x daily.
