This is relatively new: you can get your boarding group card by pulling up your res a minute after midnight the same day of the flight and printing it out. These will undoubtedly put you in the first boarding group for the flight later in the day and you get all the seats to choose from. A lot better than being in the last boarding group and you're faced with nothing but middle seats usually near the back of the aircraft.
