Again they are only going to waitlist you for a flight if your fare permits changes. I think they only board Gold members first on international flights. Mark I say: Continental had no problem putting me on standby for several earlier flights than the one I was ticketed for. I got the first EWR-CMH one for no extra charge in early December.
