Wasn't Oxnard an old air force base MANY years ago?   They had some very

Oxnard is questionable at best because of the Southwest draw at both LAX and
BUR.  Frankly, I am somewhat unclear how SkyWest is making a go of Oxnard
service as it is.

You are kidding me, right?  I would think they would go to OXR (Oxnard, CA)
before Santa Maria.  Maybe they are not happy with just FAT and should go to
VIS (Visalia).  Or perhaps Redding with a stop on Red Bluff.  HaHa
