What sounds cruel is 256 in an A320 yet this is what Airliner World said that United's Ted will be putting into its A320s. I can see a "secular" new article reporting this but not a magazine dedicated to covering the airline industry. (BTW: the max for an A320 is about 179 pax) David R http://home.attbi.com/~damiross http://home.attbi.com/~damiross/books.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "boblochry" <boblochry@xxxxxxx> To: <AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, January 01, 2004 10:04 Subject: Re: [AIRLINE] 737-900 > > I would suggest the next step from the B737-900 would be the Airbus A321. > > According to the Airbus web site that holds up to 220 pax. > > 220 pax on a A321 seems like cruel and unusual punishment.
