this incident has passed but it made me wonder
this is what occurred to some friends of mine they had book a flight
from OGG to Lax at 2:54pm (Dec 12) (on American) but due to a mix up they
missed their flight by 10 minutes
American told them the next flight wasn't until 10:30pm that night (eight
hours later)
and they were told there were no other airlines flying to Lax
so when they got home and told me of this I did some checking and found
ATA had a flight departing OGG at 3:30pm so it made me wonder if my
friends could
have flown ATA back to lax instead of waiting for 8 hours (anyway they
still had to pay
$100 to change their tickets anyway)
now of course the ATA flight could have been full or its possible it was
not operating on Dec 12
so my question is could my friend have flown on ATA instead (if AA had
endorsed their tickets)?
