In the LAX to STL example 11 of the 12 flights operate with 2 flight numbers, ex. 2747/2206, that usually means a change of aircraft. I wouldn't call that point to point service. But the next time somebody wants to fly from ALB to SJC, point to point and no "hub", they should consider flight 1599.
