If they were to try it without going with the major master plan (as Hahn,
generally not a bad guy but an asshole on airport issues, seems to want to move
away from) they would probably have to bring in even more controlers to do work
extra ground.  Now, I have not taken a trip up to the tower cab yet (which I
can do, because of my uncle in the FAA) but I am betting it is full already.
Would be interesting to see them use the cab in the old tower (which is an
office building now, after the asbestos abatement) just to maneuver superjumbos.
Might be something like SAN where the airport has to close for 744 ops.
Might have to partially close one of the runway complexes to do it
