Just saw a news story with a still photo of a cargo jet that was reported to have been hit by a SAM after takeoff from Baghdad Airport. There were flames from the left wing, outboard of the #1 engine. It was a twin, but hard to tell any details from the grainy photo. It was followed by what looked like file footage of a DHL A310 on the ramp at Baghdad. The photo could have been an A310, or possibly a A300 or 767-200. The good news is that it landed safely -- that's a nice piece of piloting. Anyone have details? Nothing on CNN or cnn.com or the sources in Google News yet. -- Michael C. Berch mcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
