The memorial will be on Sunday, November 23, at 1:00 PM, at Town Hall, 1119 8th Street, in downtown Seattle. ?We?re mourning Turkish citizens who are both Jewish and Muslim. These were our people, our citizens, our brothers and sisters? We have to embrace all of them for our children?s peaceful future, ? said the Honorary Turkish Consul General, John U. Gokcen. ?The people of Turkey are in our hearts and minds during these difficult days. We stand with them in mourning for those who were killed and wounded. Their fight against terrorism is our fight; indeed it is the combined struggle of the civilized world, ? said Rick Harkavy, Executive Director of the Seattle American Jewish Committee.
