(JBLU), a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing sho= ws. Soros sold 1 million shares of the New York-based airline at $58.50 each = for a total of $58.5 million, the filing shows. He also donated about 2.9= 1 million shares to the Open Society Institute, a New York-based trust fo= r which he serves as trustee, the filing shows. Soros now holds about 11.8 million JetBlue shares, according to the filin= g. Soros sold the shares on Oct. 30, 1 week after JetBlue said third-quarter= profit more than doubled. The shares have fallen 20 percent since the co= mpany announced third-quarter results, however, after analysts said JetBl= ue shares, which had more than tripled since mid-March, appeared richly p= riced.
