I am guessing the range of 340-300 is an issue here. I think with the range
they will have to take a payload penalty in order to serve LAX. Otherwise
it will be profitable just carrying Iranian and Armenian community to Tehran
and Yerevan.

The next North American destination is YYZ though.

As far as ThaiJet, I heard they were looking for 767-300ER. Their 757s
are ex-LTU. I wouldn't be surprised if 767s did come from Germany also.

That will make it?  Is it a 762 ER?  Speaking of Turkey flights, how come we
don't see THY 340s at LAX yet?
