...Macon, No Way, if you are gonna do Southwest, you drive two hours west to BHM to the "Atlanta West" airport. Most of O&D Customers at ATL live about the same time driving to BHM as to Macon (or more at rush hour). If Atlanta would allow traffic into Dobbins AFB (about 13 miles NW of downtown or so), it would be very attractive as an alternative airport but that ain't ever gonna happen 'cause the NIMBY's.
