Rather than assuming, please check first. Looking at www.southwest.com, WN
does not provide any short distance services from ISP (Long Island). The
nearest WN cities to ISP are Hartford (BDL), Providence (PVD), Manchester
(MHT), and Albany (ALB). The shortest distance is to BWI (Baltimore).

Straight from http://www.southwest.com/about_swa/press/factsheet.html: The
average aircraft stage length is 537 miles. The shortest is Austin/Houston
(Hobby) at 152 miles; the longest is 2,438 miles between BWI and San Jose.

140 cities requested WN service in 2002.
