Any aircraft with a cabin width of under 12 feet qualifies as a regional jet
in my opinion...... However, as my opinion really doesn't matter...

Your RJ explanations sir......

As per the Regional Airline Association the following aircraft are
defined by them as regional jets:

New Generation Regional Jets
   100-seat regional jets (80 to 119 seats)
   Mid-size regional jets (50 to 79 seats)
Small regional jets (less than 50 seats)

Older Generation Regional Jets
   100-seat or less narrow-body aircraft

 New Generation Regional Jets Include:

 Airbus A318
 Boeing 717-100
 Bombardier CRJ 200/CRJ 700/CRJ 900
 British Aerospace RJ 85
 Embraer ERJ 135 ERJ 140/ ERJ 145 ERJ 170 ERJ 190-100 ERJ 190-200
 Fairchild 328JET 728JET

 Older Generation Regional Jets Include:

 Boeing B727-100/ B737-100/ B737-200
 British Aerospace Bae 146-100/ Bae 146-300 / BAC-111

 McDonnell Douglas DC-9-10/ DC-9-30/ DC-9-40

I trust this will muddy the waters sufficiently?????
