Flying wing and flying tube (RE: [Sky-1] A318 vs B717)

I think I saw the A318 last Sunday in SEA early morning departure. Around
that time I saw the CRJ900 that serves SEA-PHX as America West Express. That
thing was a looong thin tube, almost as long as the Southwest 737-700 behind
it. I thought Horizon's CRJ-700s were long, this CRJ-900 is even longer..

Twue...the B717 is more economical than the Wing, but Frontier wants to be
a one aircraft airline. Plus their hot and high hub demands performance
without penalty that is more problematic for the B717 than the Flying Wing
(A318). Let's see how many Wings are actually delivered...my guess is some
orders will be swapped for the more logical A319. Just wish they'd lose
that MR MAGOO livery!
