AA considers (and operates) LAX as a hub, though it has an incredible
amount of O&D traffic that such a flight might look like it.

I'm still looking for an example where a major N.A. airline is using
RJs to bypass 'congested airport hubs' (LAX is a tad 'congested' to
some.)

I guess it's more of getting back to folks ongoing comments about how
the press fill white space and don't really check their facts and
assertions. Of course, this is true for many other industries as well.
