Y'd think the name "America West Arena" and a Cactus B757 Suns logojet would make America West the "official airline" of the Phoenix Suns basketball team. Not so. Southwest is now the "official" airline, even though the Suns are transported on private aircraft these days (the wretched Cactus 737-100 most players despised was turned into Coke cans years ago). AmWest said it was a business decision to drop their "official airline" arrangement with the Suns. However I find it somewhat ironic that Southwest is the airline of record for a team that plays at the America West Arena! Hmmmm...look out United Center there's mayhem at Midway!!
