If I am not mistaken, an F100 is about as big as a DC-9-30/717. It is like splitting the difference between the 2 in efficiency. They use RR Tay power, and are a good plane. They are better for EU carriers, especially now that Fokker is not making planes anymore, because parts and maintainance are easier to get.
